Kings of Thrash featuring Dave Ellefson and Jeff Young recently finished up the first leg of the Thrashin’ USA 2023 tour. Every night they played 2 Megadeth albums in their entirety ‘Killing Is My Business and Business Is Good’ along with ‘So Far, So Good… So What’ and added some bonus Megadeth tunes for all the diehards in the audience. We were beyond excited to catch a date on this tour. The band rolled into Hangar 1819 in Greensboro, NC back on March 11th. Dave Ellefson hit the stage that night proudly wearing his new Hangar 1819 shirt he got earlier in the day, the band was heard later in the night playing some riffs from “Hangar 18” as well. Pretty awesome stuff for this new venue! Being a small stage this was a pretty intimate setting for these thrash legends, but an absolutely incredible way to experience it. The venue filled in with hundreds of fans and there formed of sea of some serious head banging that went on all night.
