The mighty Godsmack rolled into Raleigh, NC on 7/20 on their Best of Times world tour. The Coastal Credit Union Music Park of Walnut Creek was absolutely packed and these people were ready to rock! Sully Erna and the guys were in rare form! They kicked off their set with “When Legends Rise” followed by Nikki Sixx’s favorite song “Cry Like A BItch.” The pyro started at the beginning of “1000HP” and those flames that shot up were intense! The band covered a lot of ground in their nearly two hour set. Their self-titled 1998 debut album all the way up to their latest Lighting Up The Sky were covered. Sully brings an intensity to the stage that is hard to rival! I’m Music Magazine Owner/Editor Johnny Price was there in that pit and enjoying every minute of it! He did manage to bring us back some pretty bad-ass pix of the band rockin’ out!
