The Lemonheads celebrated the 30th anniversary of Come On Feel with a deluxe re-issue, which was released May 19, 2023 via Fire Records and then threw in a few headline tour dates. We were excited to catch them on September 20th when they rolled into Haw River Ballroom is Saxapahaw, NC for what happened to be the last date of the tour.
Haw River Ballroom is an intimate music venue inside a former dye house and right on the Haw River. When we got there that night, there was only a small gathering of fans waiting for the doors to open. But it didn’t take long before more people started flowing in. John P Strohm would open the show that night. He was a former member of The Lemonheads, but he’s also a singer/songwriter and played a few new songs of his own.
