Steel Panther continues their “On The Prowl” Tour through out 2024. Their current leg has had them touring through the U.S. which will be ending this week after a few dates in Texas. We were absolutely stoked to catch Steel Panther when they rolled into Piedmont Hall in Greensboro, NC last week!
Fans were outside waiting for this show when we arrived and started piling in as soon as the doors open. For this leg of the tour, the band brought along Stitched Up Heart to warm up the crowds. We’re huge fans of Stitched Up Heart and as always, they had no problems at all getting the crowd pumped up to see Steel Panther.
Steel Panther hit the stage right at 9pm and this crowd was already fanatically screaming for the the greatest rock band in history! The band dove straight into “Eyes of a Panther” off of their 2009 debut album. As expected there was a lot of banter in between songs, while the band discussed the important things in life. Mainly blow jobs and boobs of course. We said important.
They performed a huge set list with all of the fan favorites, “Just Like Tiger Woods,” “Asian Hooker,” “Friends With Benefits” among others. When the band ended their set on “Party Like Tomorrow Is The End of the World” with full crowd participation, the audience knew this wasn’t quite over yet and began chanting. The band reappeared shortly after for an encore of “Gloryhole.” This band continues to put on one of the most entertaining shows you can see nowadays.
