Sons of Silver gear up for the fall release of their debut full-length album, the band is releasing a new track, “Running Out Of Words,” on August 16. It’s a mellower tune that highlights their songwriting prowess and lush vocal harmonies while remaining a beautifully crafted rock song. Stream it here: https://ffm.to/sos-row

“Running Out Of Words” follows their recently released punchy, foot-on-the-monitor, no-nonsense rock ‘n’ roll tracks “Giving It Back,” “Just Getting Started,” and “Tell Me This.” Watch the videos here:  Sons Of Silver – YouTube

Sons of Silver comprises vocalist and guitarist Pete Argyropoulos (PeteRG), drummer Marc Slutsky (Splender, Peter Murphy), keyboardist and engineer Brina Kabler, guitarist Kevin Haaland (Skillet), and bassist Adam Kury (Candlebox).

Regarding the latest single, Kury shares, “We’re excited to finally share our fourth single, ‘Running Out Of Words,’ from our upcoming full album Runaway Emotions. This one has such a hypnotic and pulsing vibe, along with lyrics that deal with pushing through when you feel like you’re struggling and almost at your end. We hope it inspires you to keep going and trust that you’ll find your way.”

Argyropoulos adds, “When I first brought a basic idea to the band—a sketch of a verse and chorus—it floundered a bit. The vision I had for the song wasn’t translating. But we all sensed something was there, especially Brina. So, we didn’t give up, and we collectively hammered it out over a number of writing sessions. It’s a true band effort and represents each of us at our finest.”

Continuing the conversation with music historian Matt Pinfield about Runaway Emotions. Hear what he and the band have to say about “Running Out Of Words”:

Runaway Emotions will be released this fall via the band’s own 4L Entertainment, distributed by Universal Music Group’s Bungalo label. The album follows their EPs Doomsday Noises (2020) and Ordinary Sex Appeal (2022). Sons of Silver have achieved three spots on the Billboard Active Rock Chart, and their songs have collectively accumulated over fifteen million views and streams. Runaway Emotions was self-produced by the band and mixed by renowned producer/engineer Tim Palmer, known for his work with Robert Plant, David Bowie, and U2.

“Finally, finally, finally, we’re getting back on the road. None of us can wait. It’s been a tough ride keeping the band moving forward over the past few years. We’ve faced a number of obstacles, but we’ve held ourselves together for opportunities like the ones coming up with Dogstar and Myles Kennedy. We couldn’t be more thankful to both acts for taking us on the road with them. We’ll be giving their fans and ours everything we’ve got,” says Argyropoulos.

The band will be adding to their rock ‘n’ roll resume as they embark on a late summer/early autumn tour with Dogstar from August 27 through September 21.
