“Rios’ sincere yet cutting lyrics tackle the ups and downs of love and the mental  anguish that goes along with it…If Sincerely, is a harbinger of what’s to come, then Rios  can start thinking about leaving the Ivy League behind” SPIN

“Raw, undeniable energy…authentic lyricism leading the charge.” – mxdwn

“Bella has such a stunning voice, and it’s amplified here to the most beautiful degree.  We felt every word she sang.” – The Honey Pop

Rising pop darling Bella Rios  has released an acoustic version of “In The Dark” from her debut EP Sincerely, PRESS HERE to listen. The new track comes alongside a beautiful music video that  sees Bella belt out the lyrics she makes sense of her emotions on the moody track. PRESS HERE to watch.

“‘In The Dark’ has always been one of my favorite songs of mine, especially to perform  acoustically. The cyclical, syncopated guitar, flow of the melodies, rhythmic lyrical  cadence just feels easy, good. There’s something so comforting about those elements of  this song that I feel especially free to adlib and just have fun channeling the emotion  behind it. I think, or at least I hope, you can hear and feel that in my performance of the  acoustic version,” says Bella.

Mental health is a subject that is woven into the fabric of many of the songs on  Sincerely,, and on “In The Dark” Bella faces her mental health head on. It’s an  angsty track about counting her worries as she struggles to fall asleep at night. This new  acoustic version trades the original track’s anger for a more soothing production  bringing Bella’s earnest lyrics to the forefront.

The new track comes after the release of Walking in the Rain (Acoustic),a  dynamic ballad about the power of music and its ability to keep us going when we feel  stuck, and Ever After (Acoustic), a cheeky break up anthem that is now a symbol  of Bella’s confidence in herself.

Released earlier this summer, Sincerely, finds Bella coming into her own as a young  woman. Written over the last couple years, the EP is an authentic collection of songs  that sees Bella wrestle with the euphoria of love, crushing lows of  heartbreak, and the vertigo-inducing peaks and valleys of mental health.  From pop-punk inspired anthems to heart wrenching ballads, the tracks on Sincerelyare exceedingly fun to sing along with and are testament to Bella’s growth as both  an artist and a woman.

From the vibrant city of Chicago and now based in the musical crucible of Nashville,  Bella’s journey began at the tender age of five when she first began learning  classical piano. Influenced by musical greats like Queen, Fleetwood Mac, and  Aerosmith, as well as contemporary icons such as Adele, P!nk, and Lady GagaBella sets herself apart with her dynamic vocal performances and powerfully  connective songwriting. Currently a senior at Princeton University studying  Economics, Bella vibe checks her songs with friends—if they love them or are moved by  them, she knows she’s onto something. With her debut EP under her belt, Bella Rios is  an unstoppable force. More new music new to come!
