Critically acclaimed Gen-Z upstarts BLACKSTARKIDS have released their otherworldly sixth studio album SATURN DAYZ via Dirty HitPRESS HERE to stream / download. Their most impressive work to date, SATURN DAYZ is a shapeshifting, genre-crossing testament to  BLACKSTARKIDS’ stratospheric and unrelenting artistry that dreams up a world without rules or limitations where Black children can go to find happiness and defy all stereotypes.

To celebrate release day, BLACKSTARKIDS also shared the official video for the album’s title track, a bouncy, bare-knuckled anthem for a disaffected generation exhausted by a world that they feel powerless to change for the better and an earnest account of what it means to be growing up Black in today’s world. PRESS HERE to watch the video which finds BLACKSTARKIDS stuck inside their bedroom and sheltering from a society which feels as though it is treating them and their friends as an afterthought.

SATURN DAYZ lead single, “SOULMATEZ!,” was released late last month and is a magnetic, blissed-out bop that serves up a mix of pop, indie, and alt-rap, reminiscent of Dev Hynes-era Solange mixed with De La SoulPRESS HERE to watch the official music video, which taps into the sunny, starry-eyed nostalgia of BLACKSTARKIDS’ upbringing in the 2000s and follows bandmates DeiondreTy, and The Babe Gabe as they find love at a rose-tinted house party.

Putting out music at a prolific rate and making waves for their formidable songwriting and producing talents, as well as their endless energy and truly limitless sound, BLACKSTARKIDS have received critical acclaim from New York Times, MTVUPROXXBillboardAlternative PressSPINOnes To WatchRolling Stone FranceThe Line Of Best FitDIYCoup De Main, and more.
