Power punk bubble grunge darlings Daisy Grenade today revealed “How To Hide A Body,” a cheeky ode to nasty exes produced by Courtney Ballard (5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low, The Used).  In true Daisy Grenade style, Dani Nigro and Keaton Whittaker imagine gloriously glossy gore where they gift an all-too-deserving boyfriend a grizzly end.

“It’s about the fantasy of finally getting your abuser back,” says Nigro.

“But in a sparkly, campy horror movie way,” adds Whittaker, in a nod to the video directed by frequent Daisy Grenade collaborators Jamie Rice and Hannah Klein.

This weekend, Daisy Grenade bring their brand of fiery feminine pop punk to When We Were Young in Las Vegas, taking the stage at 10:55 AM on the Pink Stage.  The band then heads out on tour with State Champs, kicking off at Emo’s Austin on November 8 and wrapping with two shows at New York City’s Webster Hall on December 7 and 8. All details and dates are below.

About Daisy Grenade:

Daisy Grenade is a power punk bubble grunge band that serves a bitter punch with a lip-glossed kiss on the side. Made up of two sharp yet afflicted young women, they use femininity as a weapon and, with a bit of sugar to help the medicine go down, they bring you through the pains of being a girl today which is quite frankly, a grotesque, nightmarish, and dark experience. Due to their vast theatrical background, not only are they storytellers but they can sing their faces off in a way that’s unexpectedly striking. With Pete Wentz (as in THE emo prince of our generation) as a mentor and Executive Producer on their first two EPs, they turned their glittering angst into sickeningly catchy, morbidly worded bubble grunge bops that are dripping out of a saccharine shell. They recently joined forces with Public Consumption / DCD2 Records to re-release an extended version of their sophomore EP, “Cult Classic.”

“A high-octane gut-punch full of fierce punk energy and fiery pop passion, Daisy Grenade’s ‘Cult Classic’ insists upon itself through catchy songwriting, irresistible melodies, and emotionally charged performances that firmly establish Dani Nigro and Keaton Whittaker at the front of the pack, leading the next generation of pop punk stars-to-be.” – Atwood Magazine

“The duo’s music is infectious, melding the raw instincts of garage, ‘90s alt and grunge with the polish and chops of pop music and musical theater.” – Alternative Press
