Rising pop darling Bella Rios has released her new single “Options.” PRESS HERE to listen to the cheeky track.

Tapping into her pop-punk leaning influences, the new track finds Bella confident as ever as she belts out the tongue-and-cheek lyrics over a guitar heavy production. The track is a testament to Bella’s ability to write an irresistible hook and serves as a reminder to never settle for someone who doesn’t treat you right and to put yourself first.

‘Options’ was inspired by an experience that I feel like almost everyone has obsessed over at one point or another: that one on and off “situationship” that you just can’t seem to drop. I actually wrote the song when I realized that they were giving just enough to keep me from looking elsewhere,” said Bella. “So, while there are definitely nods to some of the terribly toxic and slightly fun moments of that sort of relationship, the song is really about realizing that there’s absolutely no reason to settle for that feeling or treatment – that there truly are SO MANY better options out there. So stop stressing, and let go of that person who just doesn’t seem to want to give you everything you deserve. Oh, and don’t forget, you always have the best option around: yourself.”

Released this past spring, Bella’s debut EP Sincerely, finds the rising artist coming into her own as a young woman. Written over the last couple years, the EP is an authentic collection of songs that captures the joys, struggles, and vicissitudes of being a young person today. From pop-punk inspired anthems like lead single “Ever After,” whose official music video was featured on MTV’s Spankin New to heart wrenching ballads like “Walking in the Rain,” the tracks on Sincerely, are exceedingly fun to sing along with and are testament to Bella’s growth as both an artist and a woman. Earlier this summer, Bella released acoustic versions of fan favorites like In The Darkand more from Sincerely,.

From the vibrant city of Chicago and now based in the musical crucible of Nashville, Bella’s journey began at five when she first began learning classical piano. Influenced by musical greats like Queen, Fleetwood Mac, and Aerosmith, as well as icons such as Adele, P!nk, and Lady Gaga, Bella sets herself apart with her dynamic vocal performances and powerfully connective songwriting. Currently a senior at Princeton University studying Economics, Bella vibe checks her songs with friends—if they love them or are moved by them, she knows she’s onto something. Bella Rios is poised to take the pop world by storm and will release more new music early next year.
