When Alice Cooper wrapped up the last “Too Close For Comfort” Tour date in October 2024, he promised they’d be back before we knew it and indeed they were! Alice Cooper set off for a short jaunt along the east coast of the U.S. for another round of “Too Close For Comfort” tour dates and we were so excited to be a part of it!!
Alice Cooper hit up Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in Greensboro, NC on February 2, 2025. Even for a cold February night, thousands of fans were lining the street waiting for the doors to open on this epic show when we arrived! Tanger Center is a beautiful theater in downtown Greensboro which plays host to a diverse amount of live events including concerts, plays, and operas. Tonight’s concert would be a full theatric event by our very favorite Mr. Maybe-not-so-Nice Guy, Alice Cooper.
While it had been previously announced that guitarist, Nita Strauss wouldn’t be a part of these tour dates due to her own headline tour, Gilby Clarke (former Guns n’ Roses) became an awesome fill-in to jump right in for her. When Alice Cooper appeared on stage after slicing his way through the curtain for “Lock Me Up” everyone was on their feet and cheering. Every new track came with new props and sometimes guests, like Alice Cooper wearing a live snake during “Snakebite”. Alice played a huge set that night and each song is it’s own event. He’s still shocking audiences while hosting full theatric events through out an almost 2 hour long set. Which is actually remarkable for someone who also celebrated his 77th birthday the same week.
