TWRP, formerly known as Tupper Ware Remix Party, is out on the road pulling double duty with Ninja Sex Party. They serve as both the opening band as well as the back-up band for NSP. One look at TWRP and you know it’s going to be a fun evening. The band consists of keyboardist/vocalist Doctor Sung, guitarist Lord Phobos, bassist Commander Meouch and drummer Havve Hogan. NSP’s Pure Elegance Tour made a stop at a SOLD-OUT Ritz in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Ritz looked like Halloween in June as many of the people who attended were dressed up in fun costumes.

The band’s stage show is really great and Doctor Sung has you laughing almost immediately. The band has an 80’s synth-pop sound mixed with electro-funk. It’s a very infectious sound and the guys up on stage are having so much fun. A TWRP show is guaranteed to put you in a good mood! Since this was my first TWRP show, I have to admit that I was not familiar with song names. All I know is I had a lot more fun at this show than I expected to. I definitely left a fan of the band!
