Dance Gavin Dance is currently on the road! The Return of the Robot Tour launched on May 23rd in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is set to run through June 29th, ending in San Diego, California. We were so excited to have the opportunity to catch this incredible tour live when it rolled into The Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina back on June 9th.
That night, Dance Gavin Dance played to one of many sold-out crowds along their route. Fans were lined up early just to get a good spot in this huge General Admission room, but you know what? They were all awesome spots and fans had a blast getting pumped up by openers, Dwellings, Belmont, and The Home Team. When Dance Gavin Dance finally hit the stage, I really wasn’t sure this crowd had any energy or voices left by this time! As it happened, that was definitely not a problem for these fans.
Dance Gavin Dance came out on stage and dove into “Speed Demon” the title track for their 2024 album. The band filled their set with 13 tracks. We all got to sing along to our favorites, then also got a little taste from their upcoming album, Pantheon. It was a night that we will not soon forget.
