I felt like I had forgotten how many outright anthems P.O.D. has given us throughout the years. All up until I saw them live recently, and they were slaying it, they even threw their mega-hit “Boom” as the 2nd song of their set that night. As a photographer, I’m usually only up front for 3 songs, then I may be hanging out at the back of the crowd for the rest. It makes me miss out on the outright chaos going on when bands play their biggest hits.
The thing is though, P.O.D. has a bunch of those songs! They were able to keep this crowd jumping, screaming, moshing, and in general going crazy the entire set. It’s so great to see that kind of energy and these guys still do it! From new songs to old, they can get any crowd up and moving.
