Corrosion of Conformity released their long-awaited double album, Good God / Baad Man, on April 3, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records. The band is also busy filling up 2026 with more and more tour dates, which will have C.O.C. spanning the globe. This month, they’ve been on the road sharing stages with Clutch as well as some full headline dates. We were so excited for the chance to catch C.O.C. on one such headline date when the band rolled into The Pyrle in Greensboro, NC.
The Pyrle is an incredible new independent venue located in downtown Greensboro, NC. It’s a nice place to stop in for some drinks, but then once you head through the doors to the stage you know you’re in for an awesome time! The full basement lays out with a big open room perfect for a pit, then the 2nd level surrounds the room featuring seated and standing areas. Let’s just say, there’s not a single bad spot in the entire place and the sound was amazing!
Opening up that night was the Atlanta, GA 3-piece, Whores. These guys had no problem getting the crowd pumped up with their raw energy. Corrosion of Conformity hit the stage and and flew into some new music right away, treating us to “Asleep on the Killing Floor”, the latest single from their recent double album. The band treated the crowd to a few new tunes, a lot of old ones, and a few really old ones. You really can’t go wrong with a little C.O.C. This band continues to sound just as solid, even after 40 years.
