Praised by Earmilk for their “bold performance style and provocative lyrics that set them up as an act to keep on your radar,” The SoapGirls are sisters Noemie and Camille Debray. Together, they have built a global following through fearless artistry, relentless touring, and a fiercely independent ethos. Their sound blends the melodic DNA of Blondie and Fleetwood Mac with the gritty, distorted textures of Nirvana and Alice in Chains, creating a sonic signature that Guitar World describes as “insanely hooky songs, smooth, sweet vocals, and rocking guitars.”

Formed in South Africa, the duo’s story began with childhood street performances to raise funds for neonatal charities, busking while selling handmade soap, hence the band name. Since then, they’ve released multiple international albums and toured extensively across the UK, Europe, Japan, and the United States.

Onstage, The SoapGirls are known for performances that are raw, theatrical, and emotionally unfiltered, equal parts catharsis and confrontation. Their shows create a space where individuality is not just accepted but celebrated, anchored by the duo’s message that resonates deeply with fans worldwide: BE UNAPOLOGETICALLY YOURSELF.

Alongside their touring schedule, The SoapGirls are currently working on their upcoming Rebel DNA album, writing, recording, and producing all of their music themselves to maintain complete creative control.
