Cultus Black had some huge tours this year, including opening spots for Cradle of Filth and Devildriver. They’ve also been throwing in a bunch of headline shows through out the country continually gaining more and more fans as they go. But as a Carolina favorite, nothing was more exciting to us than when the band made it home for their final hometown show of 2026. On September 11, 2026, Cultus Black played the stage at Chapel of Bones in their hometown of Raleigh, NC. These shows are always epic and this night was no different. People were lined up well before time for doors to even open just to get in that night.
Raleigh natives Fiction Parade got the show started that night. They were followed by a brutal set from Attracting The Fall. Next up was some serious thrash metal from Outliar. Each band played incredible sets and had the pit going absolutely all night. Everyone had their horns up when Cultus Black finally took the stage. Lead vocalist, L, seemingly appeared from the smoke as the band dove into their first song. Even after an exhausting tour, Cultus Black still manages to deliver such huge high-energy sets in every room they play. It’s absolutely why they continue to gain a following everywhere they play.
I can’t wait to see what this band has in store for 2027.
