DOPE is out on the road on the Machine KIller Tour headlined by Static X and Sevendust with support from Lines of Loyalty. What a killer lineup! That tour is packed from beginning to end, so we knew we were in for a long night of both amazing live music and amazing performances from all four bands. The tour rolled into Greensboro, North Carolina on Friday the 13th (10/13/23) to a packed Piedmont Hall. After a bad-ass set from Lines of Loyalty, Edsel Dope and the guys were up next. Guitarist Virus was not as this show doe to health reasons. Please forgive us for not catching the name of the guitarist who took his place at this show and did an amazing job. If you do now his name, please contact us so that we can rightfully credit him for kicking ass that night. Forme Butcher Babies and current Alphamega drummer Chrissy Warner is on drums for this tour and the guy fits right in seamlessly. The band was loud, tight and full of energy! The crowd was absolutely loving it! The only complaint we have is that 30 minutes of DOPE just isn’t enough. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know they were an opener, so we expected a short set but come one. I know I wasn’t the only one left wanting more! Hopefully these guys can score a headlining tour soon and give us a longer set. A setlist is included after the photo gallery.
