Bourbon House released The Fourth Album on March 17, 2023, on their own independent label Steel Jacket Records. The band comprised of singer Lacey Crowe and guitarist Jason Clark was founded in 2017 and this album is a follow-up to 2021’s The Red. Bourbon House whose music is influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Bad Company, delivers a timeless rock album filled with blues elements.
“Out for Blood” is dark and gritty with Clark’s heavy, groovy guitars a major standout on the track. The intensity of the song is powerful as Crowe growls, “She’s out for blood.”
Another highlight on the record is “High Road Gypsy.” Crowe’s vocals shine as she takes the listener on a jammin’ rock journey.
“Hotel Bar Blues” is a fun, vibey track filled with beautiful bluesy harmonica playing throughout the song.
Another great track on the album, “Blue Magic”, is an alluring, soulful slow burn that builds with Crowe’s enchanting vocals.
The Fourth Album is a captivating classic rock album with Crowe’s mesmerizing vocals and Clark’s incredible guitar playing. Bourbon House is a band to keep an eye on and whose musical journey is sure to soar.
