It Will Never Be The Same the fourth EP, from indie artist Michigander, releases March 31st on C3 Records. Michigan native, Jason Singer, is the creative genius, producer, and voice behind it all.  Produced and mixed by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Phoenix, M83) and mastered by Dave Cooley (Spoon, Jimmy Eat World, Paramore), and recorded at the iconic L.A.’s Sunset Sound, this is a beautifully sounding album, full of inspiring messages.

Singer has an incredible gift for songwriting in the way he explores the difficulties in love and life set to upbeat pop music. It Will Never Be The Same is the first time using co-writers, which includes Shawn McConnell (Tim McGraw, Little Big Town, Brad Paisley), Danen Reed Rector (Charlotte Sands, James Droll), and Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional).

“Superglue” is a perfect start to the EP—listening to it I was immediately hooked. Set to catchy music, it’s an introspective song about getting your heart broken and putting it back together with superglue.

The single “Stay Out Of It” is a stand-out track with a rousing chorus that will stick in your head. The song is about not staying quiet, “It feels like everybody is talking but nobody’s ever listening and it breaks my heart because I know I can’t stay out of it…’.

“In My Head” a collaboration with Atlanta rock band Manchester Orchestra is another favorite track with an unforgettable chorus, “I close my eyes when I try to see, I bite my tongue when I wanna be heard, I try so hard to fight the feeling, It’s all in my head…”.

As the EP begins with heartbreak, “Cannonball” concludes it with an optimistic, gleeful ode to love. Lyrics like, “Even if the skyline falls and the world crumbles, I don’t think I’d mind at all if I got you…” will get everyone singing along.

Michigander’s It Will Never Be The Same is set to be an indie hit with its motivating messages, Singer’s stunning vocals, and storytelling. Listening to the songs will guarantee to uplift your day and make you want to sing along.
