On May 13th , Alice Merton, alongside Juliana Madrid, played a great show for fans at The Basement East. Alice is a German born Electronic pop artist that has been touring America throughout 2024. I would describe both artists as “angelic” mixing heavy electronic beats with singer songwriter pop singing. Definitely a show that filled the room with happy energy. I loved seeing both acts integrate Ableton, a music recording software, into their sets. It’s very unique and almost a glimpse into the future of music and live shows.
