We were incredibly excited this past weekend to be able to check out “An Intimate Evening with David Foster & Katharine McPhee” when they made a stop at DPAC in Durham, NC on February 24th. The tour, which began on February 13th in Jacksonville, FL will run through March 3rd ending in Atlanta, GA.

The seats were filled at Durham Performing Arts Center this night when David Foster first stepped onto the stage. He performed a medley of hits he’s written before being joined on stage by Katharine McPhee for their first song together. They continued for a solid 2 hour concert. The night was filled with music and stories. Daniel Emmet would join them on stage for several songs through out the night. The audience was also treated to a couple of surprise guests, including David Foster & Katharine McPhee’s 3 yr old, who joined his parents on stage playing drums during “St. Elmo’s Fire.” Then none other than Clay Aiken from his seat in the audience also joined in singing “Unchained Melody.”

This was a phenomenal performance beginning to end.
