Black Satellite opened the show for Wednesday 13 on his Murderdolls tour at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey on November 19, 2023. It was a sold out show, and the venue was absolutely packed. Singer Larissa Vale got everyone warmed up and moving with her powerful vocals in a set list that included both original songs, as well as a cover of Rammstein’s “Sonne.” Their music has a clear industrial metal vibe, with dark and gritty flavors, but also at times a soulful quality, like when Vale sings the beginning of “Void.” They set the stage perfectly for the evening of music that was to follow, and were a brilliant choice to open the show.
