Black Veil Brides were a part of a stacked tour that stopped at the Red Hat Theater in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. They, along with Jeris Johnson, Tech N9ne and Dance Gavin Dance are opening for Falling In Reverse. The Brides hit the stage in front of a packed venue and quite a lot of those fans were there sporting their Black Veil Brides t-shirts. The guys only had a 35 minute set so you know they were pack as much into it as possible. They managed to cover material from six of their albums plus a cover song during their set. “Bleeders,” the title track to their latest album, seemed to get one of the loudest sing-a-longs. Lead vocalist Andy Biersack walked, almost nervously, back and forth on an elevated walkway that stretched from one side of the stage to the other for the entire performance. At times, the other guys in the band would jump up on it and do the same. The guys were in Raleigh, NC not too long ago for a headline show but at a smaller venue with a much smaller stage. They seemed to enjoy the freedom that such a bigger stage gave them. They sounded great and I only wish they could have been given more than 35 minutes.
