On May 3rd, Brooklyn Bowl Nashville hosted Chicano Batman and Lida Pimenta. Chicano Batman is touring in support of their new album Notebook Fantasy. They have a sound considered to be a “mix of genres ranging from psychedelic soul, funk, indie, prog, and rock. The opening act, Lida Pimenta was amazing with their use of loops, harmonies and even scream vocals on a song which I loved. Chicano Batman came out swinging with their unique glittering vibes and catchy riffs. Their live show just makes you feel happy and the vocals and melodies are so welcoming. Brooklyn Bowl was a perfect place to catch them as well, with the best lighting around.
