Nashville, TN – The much-anticipated “Summer of ‘99” tour featuring Creed, Three Doors Down, and Mammoth WVH took over the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville last night (11/8/24), offering a nostalgic night packed with rock anthems, high-energy performances, and a poetic sense of unity among fans. This concert marked Creed’s long-awaited reunion tour, a redemption story for the ages, that fans have been waiting almost 10 years for. The band came out swinging with frontman Scott Stapp’s powerful vocals filling the arena as the band launched into “Bullets” and of course followed with classic anthems like “Higher,” “My Own Prison,” and “With Arms Wide Open.” Stapp, backed by guitarist Mark Tremonti, drummer Scott Phillips, and bassist Brian Marshall, reminded fans why Creed became such a powerhouse in the rock world. The band’s chemistry was undeniable; you could tell that each member was so stoked to be on that stage together. I also noticed that they have leaned into the meme culture a bit and had hilarious merch highlighting the legendary Cowboys Halftime show complete with the Scott Stapp football jersey. If I personally could sum up my thoughts on this show it would be “inspirational.” It’s not every day you get another shot to do what you love with the people that got you there and I think this tour will help a lot of people. This was their third date on the tour so you will have plenty of chances to catch it. Here are some photos of Creed with more on the other bands in another article.
