Crowded House unveiled their 8th studio album Gravity Stairs on May 31, 2024. You can currently catch the band on the road celebrating their latest album with a headline tour of the same name. The Gravity Stairs Tour began on August 29th in St. Augustine, FL and the current leg will go through September 28th ending in Paso Robles, CA.

We were beyond excited to catch this tour when it rolled into the beautiful Koka Booth Amphitheater in Cary, NC on August 31st. It was a gorgeous night for fans as they trickled in to the outdoor venue which sits right on Symphony Lake. Liam Finn got the show started. Liam is the son of Crowded House founder/vocalist Noel Finn. He treated the audience to an incredible solo-performance which showcased his talents as a multi-instrumentalist.

After only a short intermission, Crowded House would hit the stage. The band came out to greet the audience and went straight into “Recurring Dream”, which is a staple and a huge fan favorite. Crowded House played a huge set for the fans in attendance that night. They really played such a variety of hits through out the years and still added in a couple of covers, plus lots of new tracks off of ‘Gravity Stairs.’ Fans were definitely not ready to leave when this show was over. This is definitely a band that not only still sounds as incredible as ever, they’re continuing their legacy by still recording great new music as well.
