Crown Magnetar is currently out on The Unique Legion 2024 tour. The tour, which began on November 9th in Colorado Springs, CO will be wrapping up on December 17th in Kansas City, KS. We were stoked to catch this tour when it rolled into Hangar 1819 on December 1st.
Opening the show that night was a local deathcore band, DISCOVERIES. We’ve seen these guys a couple of times and they always put on a great show! Next up was LarcɆnia RoɆ, which is also a local to us NC band, but they’re part of the tour. LarcɆnia RoɆ released their debut album Dereliction on September 13, 2024 via Unique Leader Records.
Extortionist would take the stage next. Extortionist just released their latest single, which is a collaboration with The Last Ten Seconds of Life, entitled “Cold Concrete.” Then it was time for Extermination Dismemberment to hit the stage. Extermination Dismemberment recently released Butcher Basement (Revamped) via Unique Leader Records.
Finally it was time for Crown Magnetar to hit the stage. We’ve seen the band before, but were really excited to catch a full headline set. This is actually Crown Magnetar’s first headline tour and not only did they bring an incredible line up of bands out with them, their set was amazing. While the venue wasn’t fully sold-out this night, it was still packed! Everyone stuck around ’til they very end and was definitely not disappointed. We even got a surprise when Enterprise Earth vocalist Travis Worland joined the band on stage for a song. It was an epic night and one we won’t soon forget.
