Disturbed was originally scheduled to play in Raleigh, NC at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek on August 7 with Breaking Benjamin and Jinjer. A severe storm hit the area that evening knocking the power out at the venue and the show was postponed until September 6. The other bands were unable to make the rescheduled date, so Disturbed brought out Wage War with them. On this date, the sky was very sunny and no rain in sight. After a stellar opening set by Wage War, it was time for Disturbed. The curtain dropped and the house went dark. The silhouette of David Draiman appeared behind the curtain and the crowd went crazy! Then, the curtain dropped and the band emerged to their song “Hey You.” The band sounded tight and the pyro show was insane from the start. The band performed a set close to two hours that contained all of the fan favorites from “Indestructible” to “Down With The Sickness” as well as their covers of the Genesis classic “Land of Confusion” Simon and Garfunkels’ “Sound of Silence.” A full setlist follows our photo gallery.
