Dope was the second band in the show’s lineup, supporting co-headliners Sevendust and Static-X on their Machine Killer tour at The Paramount in Huntington, NY on February 14, 2024. They came out with a short, but powerful set starting with “Blood Money” and ending with their cover of the 80’s classic “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record).” Their energetic stage presence got the whole crowd hyped up and moving, and we all got a kick out of Acey Slade’s seemingly mile-high jumps while playing guitar. It was a fun show, and I look forward to them coming back to town.
