DOWN Brings The Strap It Down Tour To Greensboro, NC

DOWN is set to unleash their long-awaited new studio album, Volume V, on November 20, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records. This summer, the band can be found on the road for the Strap It Down Tour. The tour, which kicked off August 15th in Atlanta, GA is set to run through September 4th in Shakopee, MN. We were absolutely stoked for the opportunity to catch this tour on night 2 when the band rolled into Piedmont Hall in Greensboro, NC.

When we arrived at Piedmont Hall, there was already a huge line of fans waiting in anticipation of the night’s show. Once doors opened it did not take long at all for the huge general admission room to completely fill up. Fans in attendance were treated to a performance by opening act Spirit In The Room. Shortly followed with a huge set by Helmet. When DOWN finally hit the stage, they launched straight into “Lysergik Funeral Procession” from their 2002 album. The band played a few songs from that album but mainly filled the set with tracks from the 1995 debut. NOLA. It was honestly amazing hearing all of those tracks live and I can’t wait to hear what else is coming up later this year from DOWN.
