Duane Betts and Palmetto Motel opened up the Blackberry Smoke show at DPAC (Durham Performing Arts Center) on 2/15.They had a near sellout house in front of them and these people seemed ready to party after a long week working. Duane is also a co-founding member of The Allman Betts Band and a guitarist/singer for Dickey Betts & Great Southern led by his father Dickey Betts. He definitely got the crowd out of their seats and on their feet. His selection of songs on his setlist were very catchy & had elements of that very distinctive Allman Brothers twin guitar harmonies.
