Dying Wish are part of a stacked show including Mugshot, Currents and headlined by The Amity Affliction. The toured stopped by The Ritz in Raleigh, North Carolina on May 14 and to say it was a packed venue is probably an understatement. It’s a venue where it’s mostly standing with very few seats available (which are upstairs and usually a VIP fee involved). With that being said, the crowd “typically” arrives early which is great for a band on early billing. It was packed when Dying Wish, second on the bill, hit the stage and the crowd energy was awesome. Anyone who has ever been to a show knows that bands feed off of that and vice versa. I had never seen the band live before, but I was somewhat familiar with them. Lead vocalist Emma Boster is a beast fronting that band. She knows how to command a crowd’s attention and how to interact with them. It’s hard too believe that this band has been around for almost a decade now. They killed it and the response from the crowd was that they absolutely loved it! A setlist follows the photo gallery.
