“Last Night’s Moon” is the new single by Eden Iris. Following the brooding “Sunshine Motel” which was an intimate confession to somebody in the same room, “Last Night’s Moon” is a cry of longing for somebody far away. Eden’s vocals sit on top of a dreamy americana/folk production which features pedal steel by Ted Wulfers recorded at 663 Sound in Malibu, California. “Last Night’s Moon” was co-written by Dean Fields and Eden Iris, produced by Eden, and mixed by Ben King. It was mastered by multiple grammy award-winning mastering engineer John Greenham (Billie Eilish) at Clearlight Mastering in Los Angeles.

Eden Iris is a queer artist originally from Aotearoa, New Zealand “with the ambition to carve out her own niche on the immense tree of folk-inspired music” (Tobi, Demerara Records). Recording and producing out of her home studio, Eden combines her love of infectious pop melodies and the grit of Americana stringed instruments to create a unique and compelling storytelling experience for her listeners. Moving to Los Angeles at twenty years-old with just a suitcase and a guitar, Eden’s music has taken her to cities such as Nashville, Austin, and New Orleans, to perform and co-write with established songwriters. In early 2024, she moved back to New Zealand, where she continues to dedicate her time to writing and producing songs.
