Mitchell Tremblay, the multi-instrumentalist out of Detroit, MI., is also known as the creator of the electronic metalcore project Vale. Garnering much success from his first release, “Awaken”, Vale is back with another intense, energetic and emotion-evoking single and video, “Panic”, dropping February 7, 2025.

Mitchell says, “Panic was written in reflection of my battles with anxiety while growing up. It controlled my life in a way that most people wouldn’t understand. My avoidance of social situations was often misinterpreted and over time, I lost connections with people that I didn’t want to.” He continues, “anxiety has also been such a large staple in my life for the past 15 years, so I needed to make one of the first songs about it”.

The video for, “Panic”, definitely captures the feeling of anxiety, which is displayed with the scenes of always running, scary thoughts and a sense of uneasiness.

Mitchell believes a lot of people may not understand that someone might consider the feeling of, “Panic”, to something as simple as leaving the house, but he identified it as that for himself. It’s not the same type of fear as if someone were chasing after you with a knife as you were running for your life.

“I’m currently working on the “second generation” of songs for Vale”, says Mitchell. In addition, he is working on creating funny videos for his socials and posting demos that never made it into the studio. He also has numerous releases lined up over the course of 2025.

Mitchell is really just getting started. He has learned so much over the past year since the project started moving along. In the future, there is a slight genre shift that he believes people are really going to enjoy.

“Panic”, was produced by Super Producer and Engineer, Chuck Alkazian (Pop Evil, Soundgarden, Tantric) at Pearl Sound Studios (Asking Alexandria, Eminem, Filter) in Canton, MI.
