Plush took the rock scene by storm in 2021 with their powerful, self-titled debut album. The singles “Hate” and “Better Off Alone” garnered spots on Billboard’s Top 40 Active Rock chart. The band toured with KISSAlice In ChainsEvanescenceDaughtry, and others. The quartet graced the large festival stages of Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life, Rocklahoma, and more with electrifying performances.

Lead vocalist Moriah Formica’s mission has been to bring the heart of rock back to the mainstream with a fresh spin and to inspire young women everywhere to follow their dreams, regardless of the challenges that may lie in the way. In addition to Formica, Plush is made up of lead guitarist Bella Perron, bassist Ashley Suppa, and drummer Faith Powell. The four musicians are forces to be reckoned with and revered for their talent, tenacity, and teamwork.

The fierce female quartet is back with a vengeance in the form of  Find The Beautiful. The six-track EP, released via Pavement Entertainment, contains five originals and one cover of an iconic rock tune everyone knows and loves.

“Run” opens the EP and it’s a scorcher. It succinctly describes a breakup with passion and regret partnered with a lot of firepower. “Kill The Noise” follows suit. The title track, “Find The Beautiful” is a stunning ballad.

The fourth offering is their cover of “Barracuda” and it doesn’t disappoint. Formica said, “We wanted to pay homage to Heart because they’ve inspired so many generations of musicians, and I’ve always looked up to Ann as a vocal legend.”  She added, “As a band, our goal was to keep the song as close to the original as possible to keep the elements that everyone knows and loves, while also adding just the right amount of Plush to bring in our own style.” The Wilson sisters were done right by this rendition and that’s not an easy task.

“Hope It Hurts” follows with the same punch and is the ideal sequel to its predecessor. “Left Behind” closes Find The Beautiful with a bang. Every track can easily be singles and chart-toppers. One thing is certain—-they will be fan favorites for years to come.

“Left Behind” and “Hope it Hurts” were produced by Zac Maloy, Blair Daily, and Kile O’dell at Sienna Studios in Nashville, TN. The remainder of the EP was produced, mixed, and mastered by Johnny K (Disturbed, Megadeth, The Black Moods) at Groovemaster Studios in Nashville, TN.

Before their headline run beginning in New Jersey this April, Plush has joined Disturbed and Falling in Reverse on the Take Back Your Life 2024 North American tour that is crossing the United States at this very moment.

By the way, Moriah, mission accomplished. You and the band are carrying the torch and setting the music industry on fire.
