There’s a rumor the F in Fozzy actually stand for “Fun” and we fully believe this to be true. Fozzy just wrapped up their “Save The World” Tour. They brought along The Nocturnal Affair and Seventh Day Slumber on their most recent dates. The band released their 8th studio album Boombox in 2022 and would be playing lots of tracks from their latest album plus favorites from previous albums. When we saw them on April 13, 2023 at The Underground in Charlotte, NC the crowd went completely crazy and you know what? Chris Jericho and the band fully matched that energy on every level. I have never seen any band that just fully enjoys and embraces their crowd quite like Fozzy does. Lots of smiling, lots of jumping, and loads of celebration. There were full audience sing-alongs when the band went into covers of “Relax” and “Blitzkrieg Bop” and a sea of jumping and screaming when Chris Jericho would bring out his cryo gun and begin shooting it into the crowd.
