With less than a month to go until the release of their self-titled album, Sydney glam rockers STARCRAZY have released a video for their single “What It’s Worth”.

The band comments “What It’s Worth is a reflective song about the value of creative endeavors, it questions the validity of the work that we produce as artists ie are you getting back what you put in? Does your work mean anything to other people? Is it connecting? These are the questions I think are necessary to ask yourself when writing/creating.

Musically, this song draws from late 70s power-pop with a huge backbeat that drives the song, we like to think of it as Jellyfish meets Supergrass…”

About STARCRAZY:
Formed in 2020 in Inner West Sydney, Australia, STARCRAZY is on a mission to become the antithesis to mediocrity. With a heady combination of 70s glam rock swagger, sunny power pop melodies, and 80s alternative metal charisma, STARCRAZY spin tales of city life, mental health, community, and spirit. The band throw attitude in the mix to amplify their belief in the freeing power of music as an escape from the realities of life’s little and big struggles.

The band names their primary influences as JANE’S ADDICTION, CHEAP TRICK, VAN HALEN, THE SWEET, and ALICE COOPER, a total blast to be name-checked and played on the latter’s own radio show. Some of the band’s other notable successes include landing reviews in Classic Rock Magazine and Power Play Magazine and opening for THE ANIMALS, FASTER PUSSYCAT and Oz punk legends, HARD ONS.
