Ice Nine Kills Slaughters Raleigh on The Silver Scream-A-Thon Tour

Ice Nine Kills just set out on the Silver Scream-a-thon. In select cities, the band is playing not one, but TWO nights featuring two unique sets. On night one, they play the 2018 album, The Silver Scream, beginning to end, along with a few favorites on the encore. On night two, the band plays 2021’s The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood beginning to end. This makes for the most incredible nights getting to hear these 2 albums live, which included tracks they had never previously played live.

It was exciting catching both nights of this incredible tour when Ice Nine Kills rolled into The Ritz in Raleigh, NC on April 30th and May 1st. Both nights had sold out well in advance and fans were there early just to get a good spot in this huge general admission room at The Ritz in Raleigh. Not only does each night deliver a completely unique set, INK brought different openers for each night as well. On night one, Melrose Avenue, The Funeral Portrait, and The Word Alive got the crowd pumped up. Then on night two, fans got to see sets from TX2, Dark Divine, and Hail the Sun.

When Ice Nine Kills hit the stage, they absolutely delivered. The band includes on-stage theatrics for each song, bringing those horror movies straight to life. There’s blood and screams and all the horror one’s little heart can even dream of. Since the band is playing albums start to finish, the very first track played on Night 1 was “The American Nightmare,” which had fans already screaming word for word. Here’s the thing though… they never stopped!! Both nights the fans were every bit a part of the show as everyone on stage as they screamed through each track all night long. It’s such an awesome show and these were only the first dates, Ice Nine Kills has more lined up and you do not want to miss it!
