The first annual Carolina Chainsaw Massacre Festival took place on June 3-4, 2022 in North Carolina. This festival included not only a day of meet & greets with famous horror movie icons, then each night turned into a kick ass concert. The stage featured not only some local North Carolina metal bands but also some old school death & thrash metal bands. We were stoked to have the opportunity to photograph the music portion of the festival.
Night one took place at The Kraken in Chapel Hill, NC. This is a small bar that includes a pretty sweet outside stage. The festival was created and hosted by Incantation‘s John McEntee and his wife, Yoyo McEntee. So we got to see Incantation play not 1, but 2 full headline sets over the weekend.
