On June 13, 2024, Isabella Kensington opened for Morgan St. Jean on her This Is For Life tour at The Mercury Lounge, in New York City. Her set included songs “Row 22,” “Silk Chiffon” and “All The Best.” But a special moment happened when she explained that she wrote the song Always about her parents, and it was their anniversary that day. She told us about their love story, and how they met at Syracuse University at 19 years old. She then taught us part of the song and had us sing along to help celebrate them. It was very touching, and I always love to see personal moments like this in a performance.
Kensington also sang her latest single “Loves Me Like LA,” which she said is a song for everyone who loves love. The song is coming out on July 24th, and is currently available for pre-save. I highly recommend checking it out. It is a beautiful song.
