Jaguar On Mars, the alternative pop project from singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Jacob Cade, releases new single, “NUMBING MYSELF.” Stream it HERE.
Jaguar On Mars occupies the space where alternative pop meets guitar-driven rock while carving out its own identity with songs that balance irresistible hooks, modern production, and deeply personal storytelling. Cade shares, “This song is about drinking too much and/or using substances to drown out things about yourself you don’t like or want to deal with. I love the chorus because it sounds like Green Day to me, which has a crazy juxtaposition with the verses that are super pop and the bridge that’s WAY rock ‘n’ roll. It’s a fun song. I mixed it myself as well, which makes me even more excited to hear what people think since I don’t do that very much. Enjoy everyone!”
Originally from Texas, Cade spent his formative years in Colorado before relocating to Nashville. Since launching Jaguar On Mars, he has built an impressive catalog of independent releases that showcase his evolution as both a songwriter and producer. Singles including “Nicotine,” “Melodramatic,” “Bad For Myself,” “Concrete,” “Post Modern Apartment,” “Make A Scene,” and “BROKE BXTCH” have helped define the project’s signature blend of alternative pop hooks, guitar-driven energy, and emotionally candid lyricism. Alongside the release of his new single, “NUMBING MYSELF,” Cade is also unveiling the official video for his June 2026 release, “Ruin My Life.”
With “NUMBING MYSELF,” Cade continues to push Jaguar On Mars forward, proving that vulnerability and massive hooks can coexist in the same song.
