Blues Legend Joe Bonamassa and his band graced the Ryman stage on August 18th, 2024 in Nashville, TN. Bonamassa is out on the road supporting his Blues Deluxe Summer Tour. There were no openers at this show which was fine because it was a full set of riffs and and licks that kept you moving. Bonamassa was on fire while he simultaneously shredded and blues crooned with his voice. I also really enjoyed the wide array of instruments and backup singers. The backing accompaniment truly felt old school with the slightest touch of modern at the same time while also holding such a lush backing sound. Since an early age, Joe Bonamassa has been a pioneer in the blues scene and it was a true honor to get to witness this show. Be sure to catch this legendary show as it looks like Bonamassa and his band are on the road in the US until May 2025.
