KLEMNTYNA DROPS DEBUT ALBUM 'SHE' + SHARES NEW SINGLE "DISTANCE"

Rising alt-pop artist Klemntyna has released her debut album SHE via The Color Indigo Records. PRESS HERE to stream. “‘DISTANCE’ is a song I wrote after realizing that the farther I am on my journey as an artist, the more there is for me to accomplish.” shares Klemntyna on the new single. “At the same time, it expresses the feeling of being overwhelmed and tired when chasing your dreams becomes a race you’re running against yourself. Spending so much time on social media, it’s easy to believe that you’re constantly behind.”

“I hope that the song will resonate with those who might be pressuring themselves to succeed,” Klemntyna continues. “It’s such a common feeling, especially in your 20s, which is why I wanted to make it the first track on my debut album. It’s about coming of age and the various challenges I dealt with as a 20-year-old, so I hope people will find it comforting to know that they’re not alone in experiencing all the feelings I write about on SHE.”

The album also features new tracks such as jazz-inspired breakup bop “FYS” which follow the recent release of “IN N OUT,” a striking, synth-laced anthem about the addictive nature of a toxic, on again-off again relationship, and lead single “SHE” which was released in honor of Women’s History Month and encourages women to embrace their own narrative. Receiving a stunning live version, “SHE” was joined by brooding single “IN LOVE” which also received a live performance video and is about realizing someone you love is actually a complete stranger, and uplifting ballad “HAPPY (feat. Jake Tavill)” that speaks to those who have let their frustrations and insecurities color everything around them.

A defining debut album, SHE introduces Klemntyna’s unique, genre-blending sound that pulls inspiration from pop, R&B, and alternative soundscapes, and finds her establishing herself as a one- to-watch by embracing vulnerability in her storytelling and lyricism. ABOUT KLEMNTYNA

Born in Warsaw, Poland, before leaving for New York at 19, Klemntyna began performing at the age of 12 and spent most of her childhood fine-tuning her craft fueled by her innate work ethic, her unwavering resilience, and her unshakeable desire to be a musician from a young age. Known for her unique sound and impactful songwriting, Klemntyna now lives between New York and London and has also been making waves in the art and tech world as an entrepreneur who founded the online Gen Z women’s collective FemZquared to uplift women through storytelling and launched the highly successful STEAM festival Girls Code Fest in 2021.
