Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Tops’ Sharp Dressed Simple Man 2023 Tour has been packing venues all over the U.S. The tour made a stop at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 15, 2023. The venue was absolutely packed and everyone was in the mood to party to some classic rock! Skynyrd opened up with a taped segment accompanied by AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” song and a big kudos to whoever put this opening video together because it rocked! The guys came out and went directly into “Working For MCA” and the party was underway. Such classics as “What’s Your Name,” “Simple Man” and “That Smell” were played from their vast catalog of hits. The guys closed the regular set with “Sweet Home Alabama” and returned for “Free Bird” as their encore. The band sounded great and the guys seemed to be having a blast up on stage.
