Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth WVH opened the Creed Summer of ’69 show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on 11/8/24 with an explosive set, showcasing their mastery of modern rock while paying homage to the genre’s golden era. As the son of the legendary Eddie Van Halen, Wolfgang has certainly carved out his own path with heavier riffs and his own signature melodies. Mammoth WVH’s performance included fan favorites like “Distance” and “Don’t Back Down,” as well as tracks from their latest album, Mammoth II. Wolfgang’s raw talent and energy flowed throughout the entire set leaving fans warmed up for the rest of the insane lineup. The combination of Mammoth WVH’s fresh approach, Three Doors Down’s enduring charm, and Creed’s epic comeback made for a night that felt both timeless and timely. The Summer of ’99 tour was a masterclass in lineups and shows, these bands fit together like fingers going into a leather glove.
