Massacre is known as an old school death metal band. They just did a quick East Coast tour where they brought along Morta Skuld and Druid Lord. We were pretty stoked for the rare opportunity to catch these guys live when they headlined day 1 of Carolina Chainsaw Massacre Festival which took place this year at The Kraken in Chapel Hill, NC. The band didn’t hit the stage until probably 11pm, the sun had well gone down, and it had gotten a little chilly outside. But that’s definitely not gonna scare away a group of metalheads waiting to see a classic band. Vocalist Kam Lee absolutely slayed it, the band played until well after midnight and still had a huge crowd all the way ’til the end.
