Jamey Johnson was out on a run of headlining dates and he brought along Black Berry Smoke with Megan Moroney/Ella Langley (on certain dates). The tour made a stop in Raleigh, North Carolina at the beautiful Red Hat Amphitheater. Megan was up first in the opener slot which can be a tough one at times. The sun was still beating down on teh stage and the humidity level was high. People are still strolling into the venue and some may be headed to the beer stand while others to the merch stand. Then, it happens; the power of music takes over. Megan’s voice made people stop, turn around and pay attention to her. We found out later that quite a few people that we saw this happen to didn’t know who she was, but she made them want to know her.I love it when we get to witness stuff like that happen.  I’m Music Magazine Contributing Photographer Kaitlyn Fisk was there and snapped a few shots of Megan and her band for us.
