Nonpoint is currently out on leg 1 of the “Painful Statements Tour.” This tour is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album, To The Pain, and the 25th anniversary of Statement. We were absolutely stoked to catch this incredible tour when it rolled into Hangar 1819 in Greensboro, NC on January 14th. Even though it was a cold night, Nonpoint heated up that room in no time for the huge pile of fans that came in for it.

Heartsick and Crobot got the show started, but everyone was eagerly waiting for Nonpoint to hit the stage. The fans were not disappointed when Nonpoint came out and dove straight into “Mindrive,” the first track off of their 2000 release, Statement. The band would play this album in it’s entirety before leaving the stage. Nonpoint actually treated the crowd to 3 sets that night. They played all of 2005’s To The Pain and a few surprises here and there. It was actually such a great show, Nonpoint had the chance to play several tracks that they had either never played live before this tour, or hadn’t played in years. It made the entire show such a great event and everyone was loving ever second of it. The band had a recording in between songs telling stories and the history of the band. I’ve seen Nonpoint A LOT and this was by far my favorite tour by them. When the band ended on their mega hit “Bullet With a Name,” not only was the crowd not quite ready to leave. Much of the concert goers stuck around to chat and just had a great time.

This leg of the tour will be ending January 25th at The King of Clubs in Columbus, OH. For a full set of remaining dates and to keep up with new ones, check out: https://nonpoint.com/pages/tour-dates
