The first annual Carolina Chainsaw Massacre Festival took place on June 3-4, 2022 in North Carolina. This festival included not only a day of meet & greets with famous horror movie icons, then each night turned into a kick ass concert. The stage featured not only some local North Carolina metal bands but also some old school death & thrash metal bands. We were stoked to have the opportunity to photograph the music portion of the festival.
Night two took place at Arizona Pete’s in Greensboro, NC. This is an indoor venue and one we hit up fairly often for shows. They had loads more horror icons and tables lined up with fans coming in taking pics and getting posters signed. It was actually the first time I’d walked into the venue with all of the lights on, I felt like I got to see the place for the first time! At about 5:00 pm, they moved the tables out and the lights went down and that’s when the first band hit the stage.
Nuclear Assault closed out the show on night two making it one hell of a weekend!
