Olivia Jean brought her style of garage rock to The Pour House Music Hall in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina on May 7, 2023. She’s out on the road promoting her latest solo album Raving Ghost out on Third Man Records. After a great opening set by Leggy, Olivia and her band hit the stage and delivered a tight set with very little stage banter in between songs. It was the old hit them with one song and before they can catch their breath, hit them with another attitude. It was definitely a rapid fire delivery and it was pretty damn awesome.It was our first time seeing the band live and I have to say that, as much as we love the recorded versions, the rawness and edge that these songs had live helped them to translate so much better in a live setting.
